PLEASE NOTE:  THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE TOWN HALL PARKING AREA TO MEET THE STATE CORONAVIRUS REQUIREMENTS.  WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE MORE THAN 10 INDIVIDUALS TOGETHER FOR A MEETING AT A TIME AND THEREFORE WILL NOT PERMIT MORE THAN 4 ADDITIONAL CITIZENS FOR THIS MEETING.  WE WILL SET THIS MEETING UP AS A ZOOM MEETING AND CITIZENS ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN USING THIS METHOD.

Special COVID-19 Alert

Please note that the Town of Bridgeton is participating in the NC COVID-19 State of Emergency.

The Town Hall is closed to walk-in traffic but we are still accepting payments through the Drop Box mounted to the left of the door.

If you have an urgent need, please feel free to call us at 252-637-3697 to schedule an appointment and we can meet you at the door.

Permit requests can also be placed in the drop box but plans and drawing submittals will need to be done by appointment.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - The Town Parks are to be closed immediately including the playground to help control the spread of the COVID-19 Virus.  Signs will be posted as soon as they can be obtained.  We appoligize for any inconvience this causes.

These changes have been put in place to help limit the spread of the virus, for both you and our staff's safely, so your participation is appreciated!

Please check this site regularly as we will be posting any updates regarding the COVID-19 emergency as the situation warrants.

NOTICE: In accordance with the State Executive Order 124, disconnections for nonpayment and reconnection fees for residential customers have been suspended for the months of April and May 2020 to assist with financial hardships.  We encourage our customers to continue to make payments, or at least partial payments whenever possible.  The Town of Bridgeton is funded primarily by revenue received from the sale of sewer service

 

Customers who need an extension beyond May will be given an opportunity to sign up for a payment plan.  Details will be made available in the next 2 months.  Thank you for your cooperation!
